I’m getting a marpe soon and I’ve seen stuff about the “drop down effect” apparently it can cause cwr with the mandible, and can make you more recessed. I’m definitely recessed jaw wise and I don’t think I can spare any more forward jaw growth. Anyone know anything about this and how to counter act this. If there’s something you want me to ask my ortho then i definitely ask him. A few more things i wanna say, i would say i already had a wide mid face( i could attach a picture if needed) so im not sure if it will make me look worse or not, ive heard it can make your nose bigger too which i already have a pretty big nose
