MARPE + Headgear at 13

I honestly don’t know but I really think I need MARPE to widen my palate, every time I mew I get very very painful tooth marks, and I want to get headgear for my maxilla, ppl say it can’t be recessed bec im 13 but most say I need ortho tools to fix it before it’s too late, I asked my brother who’s a doctor and he said that since it’s expensive I can tell them that it’s a medical issue so that insurance covers it because it actually has been causing me pain, lmk what you guys think I should do
