marpe widens the mouth more than the nose in studies but the nose more that the zygos so its up to you (this is not medical advice)

If the only issue for you is your teeth crowding and your dental age is under 15 (It can be like that even at 18+) then you can consider RPE - Rapid Palatal Expander. it doesn't have the"MA" (Miniscrew-Assisted) and it makes RPE cheaper and easier to wear, also you don't see as much facial changes.
