I might get marpe for aesthetic reasons. I don’t have any oral health issues or smth. I want it to get a wider face since my fwhr is 1.6 and my intermolar width around 39mm.

My question is, is there anything I need to watch out for? Asymmetrie wise or smth similar. I don’t want the marpe to do more harm or smth. From what I’ve heard it should make my face more symmetrical rather than asymmetrical.

But I don’t know about marpe

If you have a protrusive alveolar ridge it can become overexpanded relative to palate causing it to look off, crooked teeth before getting MARPE also increases the risk of getting black triangles between the front two teeth, some nose widening.

what about the lower jaw? MARPE only expands the maxilla, but what about the mandible? If you just do the upper it wont.... click properly? fit properly? idk what you called this (i forgot the term for this bruhh)

Anyway do you have a plan for the lower jaw?

I know, but im 17, i dont really wanna inject fillers on my zygos or get implants and id say, why not try it at 17 rather than doing sarpe with 21.
