im going to ortodonthist and i have narrow pallate but dont really have issues with breathing through nose my tongue doesnt fit in my pallate what should i tell him to get marpe im 15

Make sure he actually offers it. If he does, he'll probably agree to do it since he makes money off it anyway. If he says no but you still want it, just find a different ortho

MARPE and MASPE are the same, just with a different turning speed. And there are a lot more indications than just breathing issues—for example, a crossbite, bad skeletal relationships, poor angulation of the teeth, etc

MASPE+ and FME are better than MARPE. Just tell him that your tounge doesn't sit well in your palate and you have trouble biting and chewing and such. Tell him to mesaure your intramolar with, take an X-Ray as well as a CBCT scan to make sure that you get the proper treatment for your case.

That’s true, but the op just said he had a narrow palette and no breathing issues, going off of those facts and no other information; I’d say that a dentist probably wouldn’t give him a MARPE. Also, well MARPE and MASPE are technically the same thing, MASPE is better for reducing a tooth gap.

Intramolar width is the distance between your left and right molar on your upper jaw. A CBCT scan is a full 3D scan of your entire skull. And there is no site which you can just buy orthodonic appliances from. You need to have an othro approve ad give it to you. The best bet is to just voice your concerns sbout how a narrow palate can harm you in the future, how your tounge doesn't rest properly in your mouth, and just general things like that and he will talk to you about the options.

don't let them extract any teeth, if your palate is truly narrow then you'll find somewhere you can get mse

this is just misinformation?
I got one without any breathing issues because you pay for it anyway

I think you're confusing marpe with a bimax/lefort 1

If you are given the option to pick, go for a FME expander or a MASPE+, it’s widely accredited to be the best. There’s is nothing to “avoid” but those are the best. Alongside that if you do have Class III Malocclusion or are noticeably recessed and need to try something out, you should ask him for options on reverse pull headgear (and try to avoid the one that rests on your chin, the bow is the best).
