When I was younger I had a sub 5 tooth smile with an extreme underbite and teeth growing in behind baby teeth. My orthodontist over the span of about 8 years gave me 2 expanders, and 2 rounds of braces, I have a 10 tooth smile now with a little over bite to overcorrect by previous underbite. My life would have been so different if my parents never took me to see an orthodontist.

Appreciate that they at least tried to set you up successfully, luckily I had a really knowledgeable orthodontist. Some parents just let their kids grow up malformed without interveining and that is truly the worst.

yep. mine was your typical "oh no his teeth arent perfectly straight give us $6000 to fix this 1mm offset!!" money farm shits. doctors/dentists/orthos that push all kinds of treatment knowing they're screwing people should face punishment

Yeah bro u should definitely research a well respected ortho in ur area and get a consult, if u truly have trouble breathing then that is no way to live life. It’s not a cheap or easy procedure so I’m glad I had it done when I was young, but make a change before it’s too late and you regret it.
