Hello forums.

I am a newcomer. Just received approval from the team so thanks for that, looking to learn a lot and contribute a lot here.

Anyways I know you don’t give fuckall so let’s get to the point.

I’m looking into masseter Botox for face slimming. No TMJ or history of teeth grinding.

I have a balanced bigonial and byzygomatic width which makes my lower third look wide, even being relatively lean, it’s harder to see hollowness(no cope just means I got to stay lean as fuck to optimize shadows) in the buccal region. Despite my optimal facial width to height ratio, my lower third makes me look blocky. Kind of like a fkn minecraft character

I think a fair combo of some fat lipolysis injections in the buccal region and light masseter Botox will do me a good favor.
However I’ve heard masseter Botox can reveal some previous Skin laxity, cause jowls, and overall produce a more aged affect. Which I’m definitely not trying to look more gaunt as a I already have upper eyelid exposure and a poor infraorbital rim.

Is this gaunt affect guaranteed to happen? Or can I reduce my risk significantly by receiving, say, 8-15 units per cheek..

lmk your tips and experiences.

No photos, I know what I’m seeing and I know that I need slimming, beyond losing face fat.

I just realized my autistic ass typed a fucking report. Sorry for the read but basically if u want a sum down.

Does getting a low, say, 10-15 units safeguard me from looking old after masseter Botox settles in?

masseter botox can reveal existing skin laxity or jowls by atrophying the large muscle that was previously pulling the skin/fat back. however, if it reveals jowls that typically means you have excess subq fat anyway and you should consider aqualyx.

botox does not age you whatsoever, and if done on other areas e.g. glabella it has an anti-aging effect for wrinkles.

i'm gonna order botox in a few weeks and pin 30 units into my left masseter to help with asymmetry. i'm just waiting for the aqualyx swelling to go down after pinning not long ago.

Do you suggest a try this out with a low unit injection, and gradually build up?

I did masseter botox 25 units per side.
(Photos below)

My masseters where already big but then I did a small cycle 500mg a test for 3 months. My bigonial to zygo width got to around 94% and the masseter was protruding out more then my zygo so i had less hallow cheeks.

So i thought i would do botox,
First 3 weeks after, i got crazy angularity and hallow cheeks because when i clenched the lower part of the masseter protruded so much out and the upper one below the zygo didn’t move.

But then after 1 month the lower masseter started getting Smaller too, so now again i have less hallow cheeks.

Im going to wait till the masseter is back to normall and then only do botox in the upper part of the masseter right below the zygo.
To try to get the same effect i got the first 3 weeks

Holy shit so you had lesss hollow after time? I’d figure it’d be the opposite affect.

My bigonial to bizygomatic is about the same. Which is great and masculine, but my jaw looks so fucking blocky specially without major definition.. seriously considering the masseter Botox. Let me know how injecting the upper part of the muscle affects your look

Yes i will definitely let you know and probably make a thread about masseter botox, but as of right now im waiting till my masseter are back to normal wich can take up to 6 months, so you will have to wait a little bit.

But for hallow cheeks you want the triangle that pin points from zygos, chin and gonial/lower masseter to be as large as possible. If the masseter is protruding more out then the zygo like in my case the triangle becomes smaller so there for less hallow cheeks. So i would recommend logically to do botox in the upper part of the masseter right below the zygo, if the masseter protrudes more out then the zygo and a tiny bit in the lower part if you really need to.

(Also there is a thread about the triangle wich explains it better)
