like the title says should you be training your masseter muscles when you have inward gonions I've heard debate bout this some people say you shouldn't cause it'll make you look bloated and some other say you should lmk

depends how your muscle insertions sit brah, higher set masseters can make you look bloated or uncanny if they're overdeveloped, but if your masseters sit closer to your jaw angle then go for it

I trained them now they asymetrical asf😢
 
depends how your muscle insertions sit brah, higher set masseters can make you look bloated or uncanny if they're overdeveloped, but if your masseters sit closer to your jaw angle then go for it
thanks bhai but how do I know if my masseter muscles are high set or low set

left is low set, right is high set

flex them by clenching your jaw, if the muscle flexes all the way down to your jaw angle, they're lower set. if they ball up under cheekbones then they are higher set. somewhere in the middle then likely it may not be worth to over train them

when I clench they ball up near my jaw angle should I go for it

idk to be honest, i figured most people had masseters that went fully vertical down the ramus but I've seen plenty of videos of people with bunched masseters mid way down. muscle insertions in the masseters work just like any other muscle I'd presume. some people genetically have a chest that doesn't close all the way, why can't masseters be the same way?

I'm really only hypothesizing here and giving my best theory
