This is a fake recession caused by the fed hiking rates in response to high oil prices increasing the cost of virtually everything.

Even worse in non-US countries, it's a forced response to what the Fed has done, either you raise rates and destroy your already feeble economy, or you leave them as you are and watch the dollar annihilate your currency and import even more inflation.
