Since the geography quizzes seem pretty popular, I'm gonna also try out a math quiz and see how well that'll fare too. This quiz is still in "beta mode," so the questions will be fairly easy this quiz. However, the reward will be less than what it might be later on.

There will be 6 questions total.

Section 1 consists of 3 multiple choice questions. 1 mark will be awarded for each question correct. If you get all 3 marks, I will +1 react three posts you have made in the past. Pen and paper are allowed for this section. However, a calculator is not allowed.

Section 2 consists of 3 free response questions. 2 marks will be awarded for each question correct. Partial credits (e.g., 4 marks + 1 mark) will not be awarded unless indicated otherwise with the abbreviation (pc). If you get all 6 marks, I will +1 react six posts you have made in the past. Pen, paper, and a calculator are allowed for this section.

Please don't use the internet to solve these questions. A calculator should serve you well. Unless you're someone by the name of @Blackgymmax.

The maximum score for this quiz is 9 marks.

Section 1

1)
What is 12 times 13?

a) 169
b) 156
c) 166
d) 159

2) What is the formula for the area of a circle?

a) π^2 / 2
b) 4 π r^3 / 3
c) 2 π r h
d) π r^2

3) What is the cubed root of 8?

a) 2
b) 3.8
c) 8/3
d) 4

Section 2

4)
Joey has 20 apples. If he cuts every apple in half, eats 16 halves, and glues the remaining halves back together, how many whole apples will Joey have left?

(pc) 5) Solve (x - 3)(x + 2) = 0. Provide two answers.

6) What is the indefinite integral of e^x ?

All 6 correct. Question 5 could've been done mentally, but idk how many people actually remember zero root theorem.

Thanks for letting me know. This was a demo test, just to help me gauge how difficult I should make the questions. My knowledge in math is also limited, just to keep in mind.

1. 156

Figured it out in about 3 seconds. My brain is able to figure out problems involving multiplication in a flash. I’m abysmal at Geometry, Alegbra ETC.
