Hernan Drago is often glazed by men in this space, and only really by men. There are certainly women who find him attractive, but most people do not know the difference between being striking and being attractive.

Hernan is obviously very attractive, but the reason why girls like less dimorphic and less striking guys like Chico more is for the same reason why men and women tend to have different opinion on what is attractive. Guys think Hernan is extremely attractive because they can see that he is mathematically beautiful. This forum also overemphasizes male dimorphism and psl to the point where they will rate masculine-looking women with wide jaws and strong brow ridges as 'stacies'. But men aren't actually attracted to Hernan, or any other man; they think he is good-looking. I used to think Chico was overrated because he didn't have super high dimo or psl, but now I realize that Chico is actually attractive because of his aesthetics, which will always be the most significant. Girls aren't actually that attracted to Hernan, just like how men aren't all that attracted to Bella Hadid, even though science says she's the most beautiful woman in the world. This doesn't mean looks aren't mostly objective; men and women just have different perceptions of peak beauty for each gender. If you actually want to attract girls, pay attention to the gays they fangirl the most for, instead of wanting to look like an ogre.

Elias is mathematically gl but he gets dogged on for looking like a school shooter by guys here yet foids in this thread are glazing him

Holy holy misinformation. Bella Hadid is NOT scientifically the most attractive woman in the world lmao. These mainstream scientists say retarded shit like that all the time, they also say that Robert Pattingson is the most attractive man, even though he has a recessed maxilla lol.

Anyway, back to the main talking point; There is some literature to suggest that men overall prefer more dimorphic faces in both genders, but that diffrence is much smaller than you make it out to be. In order to not repeat myself, I'm gonna paste a section from a previous post: Psl is harmony + angularity + features + dimorphism. Many confuse having low dimorphism (and sometimes low angularity) with having high appeal for the same harmony, but that really isn't the case at all. All low dimorphism does is cater to a diffrent group, namely teenage girls. Higher dimorphism increases your appeal linearly, on average, but it makes the age that desires you the most a higher number. Teenage girls usually prefer a dimorphism around like 6 (idk exact, just for refference), whilst 30 year olds like 8.5. Anything above 6 will be less attractive and when you get to like 9 it will sometimes be a little threatening. However, having 9 dimo will make your rating a little less for young women, but a lot higher for older women, with an increase on average. A teenage girl may say that Chico is the best looking model, but thats because he is a very rare case of high harmony with low dimorphism. Usually these coorelate strongly, so chico is as rare of a case as Hernan Drago, just not as objectively good looking.

Furthermore, when girls call men "uncanny" and larpers say they have "high psl", they usually have mid/shit harmony and/or features and just high dimorphism and/or angularity. A prime example of this is Androgenic.

And sure, there are some with low psl with relatively high appeal but thats only if they have 1. a polarizing face, where the psl can still predict the overall rating across a large group of people; 2. a stylistic choice that is not related to their face.

Some girls say the same about Hernan, and I didnt mean that mathematical attractiveness doesn't matter

Just because I used chico who is low in dimo and high in everything else, doesn't mean I'm implying that everyone with low dimo is like that. I should of used strinkingness more instead of dimorphisism. Dimo cannot fix the bad features and harmony. Older women do like masculine-looking men, but these men probably have good harmony and appeal as well. Also, most people on .org are young men, who would of course be looking for young women. They would have to kind fo focus mor on appeal and harmony than dimo.

Appeal isn't a real thing, as I explained in my post, its just a polarization thing. Getting higher dimorphism will always help, but I agree that its better to have higher harmony than high dimorphism. Nevertheless, its usually not an either/or question, its easier to increase dimorphism than to increase harmony. Very few of us have much higher dimorphism than a 6 anyway, so it will be a buff to be more dimorphic (even when trying to attract younger women). The reason having higher dimorphism is good, is also because it will make you much better looking when you are in your 20s and when trying to find a wife. The slight teenage girl nerf of going above a 6-6.5 dimorphism is much smaller than the later buff when you are in your 20s. Anyway, this nerf is also typically only for unattractive girls, or those hormonally fucked. Its been researched that more attractive girls like higher dimorphism so I wouldn't really worry about going too high (unless its like 2 tiers higher than your harmony, thats when you can enter uncanny terretory unless you are cl).

This was not very well written but its late ash so

I agree, I was referring to trying to look overly masculine and striking. Like dying your hair black and wearing blue contacts.
