I have no idea what to pursue with my life and so I’m turning to uncles on the internet to help me

I have two options. Either stay at home and continue to study Maths as a major or go away to a different country (that speaks English)and begin to study Biomedical Engineering. I’m good at Maths and I have the grades to do both. But I have no idea what to pick to wageslave as.

Any thoughts?

Which do you genuinely prefer/ see a long term career doing. Both very respectable degrees that open doors to high paying jobs. Particularly a maths degree at a high ranked university/college idk where you’re from would put you in the position to do something in fincance which pays great. But either option are good choices

maths at home will be safer in terms of student loan debt, few new impulses, but might leave you too comfortable to actually pursue new things. students that live at home are generally less involved in student activities.

moving would involve more debt, and new responsibilities, but would leave you in a make or break situation, where you feel as if you need to make this work, given your increased debt and distance from home. it could overwhelm you though.
