Nasal breathing (patent airway), absence of mouthbreathing, correct lip closure, and correct tongue posture.... but all this while growing, with little children.

Coceacing in one of his videos said that just like the snail and his shell it's the tongue which dictates the size of the mandible. I don't really get this. Does this mean recessed people have a genetically smaller tongue or what?

That is a good example that tries to simplify the complexity of factors, especially when we are referring to anterior mandibular hypoplasia.
