Are there any natural ways to widen / rotate the maxilla, as it controls forward growth and the whole midface etc. I genuinely think 90% of people with a forwardly grown and strong maxilla is automatically good looking.

I don't think it is. Imagine having foward maxilla but non-existent zigomatic.
Zigomatics are often more important than the maxila itself unless your maxilla is very recessed.

Yes, but it doesn't mean they are the same. You can have a perfectly healthy and well projected maxilla, but still have shit zygos, because their growth are not interlinked in any way.

None of the PSL gods rely solely on the maxilla, they all have godly zygos too. It's not about just having a well projected zygos it's about the zygos itself being in the correct lateral-diagonal angle and shape.
