Why do people think that maxilla is very important?

So overrated tbh, people think that a Lefort will give you a new face or smth. Its just the frontal bone which if its well grown would look aesthetic from the side but besides giving undereye support which can be just fixed with infraorbital implants it has no real benefits. From the front pretty much nothing would change ( unless ur maxilla is severly recessed )
Almost every model has either a flat or recessed maxilla, forwardly grown is actually very rare, the only one who I could think of is Randy Orton. You can see that through their orbital vector.
People really save up 10s of thousands of dollars just to get close to 0 changes.

my maxilla is just enormously forwardly grown but that makes my convexities awful since I have a recessed jaw that combo man you dont want to see it. Id rather have a forwardly grown mandible.
A recessed maxilla also makes your profile flatter which is better for the ratios

no trust me a recessed maxilla looks like shit. If you don't have a good nose shape with a bad maxilla, then it can fuck your side profile up A LOT. Be grateful for your maxilla and get a BSSO if you truly want to fix your lower jaw.

Thx, maybe I dont value that enough and havent seen my face without it. I think Id get a chin implant since its less risky. Would be prob overprojected but at least no recession

Some people say that the maxilla is everything and the most important in beauty, so that's why you probably think like "WTF I have a good maxilla and I don't look as good as they claim I should look". Well that's because these people are full of shit. A good maxilla is a very good trait that influences your face a lot, but if you have other shitty features, then the maxilla alone just is not going to save you.

You can be a sub5 with a great maxilla.
