your maxilla is recessed due to the fact that in a projected maxilla, it is slightly angled and it is more projected towards the lower end of it, and pointing towards the direction of the chin. In your case tho it isnt, in your case the chin is behind the maxilla which means 1. Your chin is recessed. You can tell the maxilla is recessed due to the fact that its not angled forward but almost flat vertically from the infraorbital bone to the alveolar process

Depending on ur age u might be able to use headgear and some "medicine" if u catch my drift for a tad bit forward growth. I believe ur lower third is where the biggest issue is and the gonial angle. Now ofc surgery will be the best option but giving yourself time is prob a good idea.
