Attached pictures are of skulls i have recently viewed at the anatomical museum in latvia.

I was told by a doctor not so long ago that the sutures in the palate fuze with a sawtoothed pattern - making expansion unsafe and more likely to make a skewed expansion.
However, in all the skulls presented here. No such thing is observed.
Was i misinformed?
Probably.
Either way it was Super interesting to look at these skulls.

most of the museums items were from 1920-1930.
Presumably latvian.
There were many skulls.
Some with very obvious and fine saw-toothed patterns in the sutures of the skull.
I observed the same in the maxillary sutures on these skulls bit sadly did not takw any photos of them
