I believe epigenetics is real and has an influence on facial development but its scope is hugely over stated by this forum.

Face masks are most effective between 6-12 before maxillary sutures begin to seal, much less so after this.

And do u know if midface implants (maxillary) are good on men ?
All the water surgeons known here don't do it so i thiught it just looked too feminizing on men

Conservative implants can look decent but it depends on the extent of the maxillary recession as well.

If you're a candidate for implants due to actual bony deficiency, then they can look pretty good.
If you want to look like a male model, you'll end up like a doll.

Ik never get above conservative results it will just look artificial , i have never seen results of maxillary implants and all the forum surgeons only do infras and not below malar line ig it's just not good on men

I think recessed mandible = manletism and recessed maxilla = framecel.

At least you can fix a recessed mandible with BSSO. A recessed maxilla is another story.

Realistically. In the example given, the entire maxilla is retruded ; LF1 only advances the upper jaw.

Lefort 1 + upper midface augmentation (implants) is the likely way to go.
