Does anyone here have any actual experience with maxillofacial surgery? My maxilla is so retruded my side profile looks like an uninflated baloon.

My profile view is ogre man. It was even more ogre 2 years back. Since I started using invisalign, my teeth have become much better. But the profile is ogre. Its a protruding lower jaw whose impact is amplified by a recessed chin. My chin is squarish and long so from front it isn't that noticeable in 2d pics. But whenever I go to a changing room with mirrors all round, I can see how ogre it is.

is invisalign legit? im 17 and wondering what I should do about my overbite, will surgery really be needed in the next couple years?

Invisalign helps with the teeth. My teeth were screwed and not aligned properly. Looked ogre when I smiled. With Invisalign my teeth now look great.

Invisalign of course is legit but it can only move your teeth and not jaws.
