Now that it gained so much attention, with every other CEO reacting in an opposite way, ppl see only 2 fast-food chain categories - McDonalds and others. This way McDonalds maintains it's image as the main fast food chain.

It also makes McDonalds appear like a relatable working class thing, since a rich guy like a McDonalds CEO "seemingly" doesnt like it
