You can easily catch pigeons with some simple traps, they are everywhere in cities, they taste just like chicken, the only problem is that they eat all sorts of crap, discarded junk food, are exposed to pollutants, or might have parasites from sewers, so it's better to catch them alive, keep them for a few days in cages while feeding them organic seeds and clean water, and if they're still ok and look healthy, you can then eat them.
