Computer science is a dying industry
what makes you think that?

i get the sentiment of programming "dying" if AI was actually good enough to replace programmers, but the progression of AI relies on the advancements in computer science

I'm a sophomore in Mech E at a top 10 school US rn and it's actually raping my ass no joke. Last two months have been hell, only choose eng if you're actually interested in applied physics and math.

What level are you as an engineer ? Are you chartered ?
2. Gave up on chartered, never pays off vs the time wasted. I will quit in the next 2 years barring massive global recession.

Aberdeen oil industry. It’s horrific salary on a global scale which is the only one Foids are interested in. Any foid here can run off with 200k earning American boyfriend quite casually.

No demand, USA is closing off from the world and every other country is even worse. Best I can hope for is a year on an MSV in Angola then retire.

Both are really great options.

- In ME you are more oriented the physical and tangible world.
- In EE you go more into abstract concepts.
- Both are math intensive
- Both of the fields has great room for creativity that can open up for entreprenourial oppertunities.

I think it would be the wisest to go for the one you are more interested in as well as to try asses which of them are the most compatible with your intelligence. Its important to play your cards right.
