Medication for meeting anxiety

I get into panic/anxiety before job interviews or other important meetings. I usually cant breathe well anymore, mostly because of heart racing. I also cant think correct and get stuck in my argument.
My psychiatrist would prescribe me beta blocker (propanolol) or Lorazepam (Temesta). Which one should i chose?
