Medication to suppress/numb your emotions?

Do you know if there any medication suppress your emotions? Mainly to lessen the mental pain (sometimes it's unbearable). It's really hard to do any productive work when all i think about is the pain. I would appreciate it if you could help. Thank you!

I did take antidepressants about a year ago and even increased doses. It didn't do much at all.

Why would u need to numb emotions?? Maybe u meant u need good antidepressants? Just go to a doctor he will prescribe u what u need but make sure its good doctor cuz u dont want him to prescribe u valerian root lol
