Its not nearly as hard as people think its just very time intensive at least in the USA. Most of getting a medical degree is about conforming and jumping through hoops this does not imply intelligence more so a willingness to conform and do what you are told. Doctors are not amazing people most are mainly in it for the money. I wish people treated them the same as a law degree no one thinks lawyers are good people but they are incredible hard working and will do whatever it takes to succeed.

Doctors only care about money this idea they are out to help you is BS. Ask some people here who were prescribed SSRIs that caused their dicks to stop working. Do you think any of these doctors care or the doctors that perform trans gender surgeries on teenagers. We have seen the result of a year being run by these "experts" and look at the results society is failing inflation is high social unrest and distrust has never been higher.

I trust anyone in a math field and value engineers over most doctors. At best a lot of these guys are naive or incompetent and people at higher level are mostly evil or a combination of incompetent/arrogant and evil.

But ye, most doctors don't know anything about pharmacology. I literally run circles around them.

It's very high status but the work schedule can be horrible. There are multiple doctors in my family and they've told me being on call is annoying as fuck being woken up at 3am. Most med students are depressed too. CS/engineering is the way.

My only point is that everyone recognizes Lawyers for what they are people who care about money and status for its own sake. The average person pursuing a medical degree is not different

Yeah they aren't payed to figure out natural ways to resolve this shit. If they could turn every natural process into a medication and sell it as necessary they would.

Yeah work life balance sucks but I think engineering is harder mentally. With enough hard work a lot more people can be doctors but in Engineering or hardcore STEM some people just cannot do it no matter how much work they put in
