Im looking to start melanotan 1 or 2, leaning towards 1 as I don’t want a very dark tan or more side effects that 2 would bring, I would be starting around November or December as I have rosacea that is much more noticeable and detrimental towards my looks when I get paler in the winter, however I would be in school Monday to Friday 8:30-4 so I would be getting barely any uv, is this still worth it?

melanotan without uv exposure is pointless nigga and wont give u a natural looking tan mt1 nd mt2 work by upregulating melanin synthesis but they still require uv radiation, sunlight or tanning beds, as the trigger to actually darken the pigment evenly

without uv taking mt1 will mostly just darken ur existing moles freckles lips and facial hair follicles creating a splotchy look rather than a smooth tan

also if u have rosacea uv exposure is one of the main triggers that causes severe flare-ups and facial flushing trying to blast ur face with uv to get mt1 to work will likely make ur rosacea redness significantly worse completely counteracting the aesthetic benefit u want

I feel like palemaxxing in winter is the move IMO.

So could I take a weekly dose on the weekends actually get uv exposure and keep it to a low dosage to prevent the flare up? Or are you saying it’s completely pointless even then because of my rosacea

Your supposed to get sunlight if you take melanotan, its not just magical tanning in a bottle
