i usually just buy a bottle of melatonin and grab like 5-15 gummies 60 minutes before sleep, usually like 10-40mg of melatonin
anyone have a dose they recommend (i am buying 50mg capsules soon) i just can’t right now
along with like 400mg of magnesium and like 4 mg of bioperine

anyone have any reccomendations on how much i should take

Melatonin doesn't directly induce sleep, it just regulates the circadian timing.
Magnesium can promote muscle relaxation, but it does not directly control the sleeping mechanism either.

You can use anything from 10 to 50mg melatonin if you want; i recommend taking it at sunset
400mg magnesium is good
If you didn't get any results, you can start suvorexant

yeah normally i can’t sleep at all, taking melatonin in macro doses + magnesium makes me fall asleep and stay asleep (+ it has a nice placebo)

If it works for you, then you shouldn't change anything. Btw check out ramelteon too; it's approved for sleep onset issues
