Even when I create and read threads, I notice that the most active discussion revolves around love.
Since childhood, everyone has been told the same bullshit: men are callous, unemotional creatures. They don't know how to love, how to feel, how to care the way women do. They say that emotions, tenderness, and romance are a woman's nature. And a man is simply a provider, a protector, completely empty inside. But if you stop and look around, you'll see a completely different picture. Everything you call love, everything that makes your heart beat faster, was created by men.
Take music. Almost every love song that has made thousands of people cry and fall in love was written by a man. He sat up all night, wrote lyrics, pouring his pain and passion into lines that women then sang and claimed for themselves. Take sculptures. A man took and carved the image of the woman he idolized. Now take poetry. Dante first saw Beatrice when he was nine and she was eight. He fell in love with her instantly and forever. Nine years later, she passed him on a Florentine street and greeted him with a slight bow. That was all he ever received from her. She married another. She died at twenty-four. And he, grief-stricken, barely ate and vowed to say about her what he had never said about any woman before. He led her through hell, purgatory, and heaven-in the Divine Comedy. He transformed his unrequited love into immortality.

Dante died 705 years ago. And his Divine Comedy is still read today. He received one greeting from her. And that was enough to create the greatest work of world literature, which is still studied, quoted, and translated into hundreds of languages.
Can any woman write anything similar? Not "similar" in the sense of talent-many have that. But "similar" in the sense of obsession. In the sense of a willingness to put the image of a man who didn't choose her through hell, purgatory, and heaven. In the sense of the ability to turn rejection into immortality. In the sense of a willingness to devote her entire life to someone who didn't even notice her.
Men have built temples, written poems and verses, died in duels, started and ended wars over women. The concept of romance? A 12th-century male invention. Courtly love (the concept of medieval love), chivalric romances, the worship of the lady-all of these were invented by men. Women didn't create romance. They became its object. Meanwhile, women would rather be torn apart by a bear than talk to the average man.
Men created love. Women consume it. A man invests his soul, a woman takes it for granted. A man creates beauty, a woman uses it. The man sacrifices everything, the woman takes everything. And yet it is the man who is accused of callousness.
The man created love as the highest form of art. The woman turned it into a commodity.
