so why do cartoons use eyelashes as a representation for girls?

female characters will often have visible eyelashes in cartoon, when the male characters usually do not.

why is that?

also it’s not proven that men do have longer eyelashes

but if you go outside and just look around you’ll realize it’s mostly factual

so again, why?
