It's simply due to the requirements of the modern society, we live comfortably and therefore have no main problems (mostly) to worry about.

There's also the fact that many more men are seeing how pointless it is to keep going with life due to lack of community and with how atomized everyone is now. Men back then used to have families to go back to, it served as a medium to work hard and continue living. Now? You simply work to survive; there js no living. You don't go home to serve for a family you care for. You can't even have one because of how individualized people are now, and this is even more aggravated if you have some degree of self awareness and blackpilled/autism
