There are three components to this.
- Evopsyche: kinda spitbally hypotheses for why we possibly developed these preferences in harsh caveman times
- Stated reasons: how we bastardize and become unreasonable with these probably genetic reasons and why they are outdated and are inarticulate at explaining why they exist (but probably not your fault)
- But Actually: Why you are kinda right and the other gender is retarded for not paying attention to this personality trait
Promiscuity
Evopsyche: Men want to make sure the work they are doing is worth it because it is harder for them to tell if a child is theirs, they want to pass on their genes if they are investing in a family they are putting their lives more on the line.
Stated reasons: just obsession with purity and jealousy of other men that aren't in her life. most men aren't able to articulate very well why pure virginity should be a reasonable thing to expect from a woman in modern times they just explain them being used up or using lock and key metaphors, and useless things like being a woman's first or taking virginity.
But Actually: there are aspects of being promiscuous that make someone a worse long-term partner MAN OR WOMAN. Who gives women more heartbreak fuckboys or chuds. reality is that the men that hurt women the most are men with superficial charm, and low pair bonding ability (things obtained through a lot of experience). The problem with body count discussions with women is that they fail to understand that having a high body count isn't a deliberate choice or a switch in your brain but likely just a natural pattern of behaviour and tendency, in extreme cases probably indicative of some mental illness even. your inability to get attached to the last person implies your inability to get attached to the current one as studies show. And that's why Chad lies to your face easily Abt commitment and finds it easier to cheat. if ur gonna be Chad only you should be having bodycount discussions as well

Evopsyche: Women hate weak men cuz caveman times were brutal. so they would rather have a dude who can kill prey and animals in cold blood rather than a soft boy who can't and wont panic easily in tense situations.
Stated reasons: Women usually describe vulnerability as draining and unattractive even if completely reasonable and even if the man is reliable in other ways. You could have her back the entire time but cry once and she will probably lose all attraction to you. kind of backwards in terms of survival. they will also expect emotional care from men and not the other way around.
But Actually: Neurotic women are annoying as shit. you cannot joke with them at all. they ask retarded questions and need constant attention/affirmation. when men excuse neurotic behaviour for pussy it is usually a dangerous game. many men have stories of bipolar crazy gfs just doing crazy retarded shit. Men are willing to accept neuroticism and insecurities from women so they hold resentment when they cant do the same but the real question is why would you advocate for something that cannot even advocate for itself. it is a good skill to be able to regulate your emotions MAN OR WOMAN in any environment these types of emotions arent just exhausting to deal with but can lead to ppl acting immoral in unpredictable ways. Many acts of malisciousness towards partners or other people can be born out of things like insecurity and anxiety so the idea that neurotic people are soft harmless people always needing of a hug is untrue. it can kind of be a selfish trait in some cases.
