IQ is somewhat of a cope. The person tries to compensate for his lack of good looks and sociability with a test result that has no profound meaning. Take this from someone who has been tested at an early age: intelligence means close to nothing if you are physically and socially unattractive. It may be a bonus if you meet the criteria, but if not, quit coping with a useless result that has barely any impact on your everyday life.

Well, it's a shorter at home version of the official test to essentially give a rough estimate of one's IQ. It's sold by mensa and marked by a psychologist.

I am familiar with The Bell Curve, IQ in the Meritocracy, The Neuroscience of Intelligence, The g Factor, The Abilities of Man, IQ and The Wealth of Nations, and other books about intelligence testing and its predictive power.

I am saying IQ is close to meaningless if you are physically and socially unattractive. It may be a bonus if you meet the criteria, but if not, there is no point in bragging about your high IQ when you are a basement-dwelling loser whose only accomplishment in life is a STEM degree.

How useful is IQ when you have no friends? How come you brag about your high IQ when no girl is interested in you? How much do your mental abilities matter when you go home to an empty apartment everyday? Tell me IQ is super important under those circumstances.

IQ gives you the ability to change your life trajectory if youre subhuman. would you rather be low iq or high iq chad? its not meaningless if it helps you achieve your goals and rise out of poverty or become a billionare.

it has a .4 correlation with life success and it is shown that people with higher levels of iq are more happy.

All IQ tests are worthless. This test poorly measures a small subset of knowledge, it has nothing to do with innate intelligence. If you want to measure knowledge, do a math/physics test

This test only measures how well you can pass this test. Like any other test. If you can pass a math/physics test it doesn't mean you are smart.

My result from the Mensa Denmark exam. 85th percentile, not too shabby. Had like 15 minutes extra time after finishing the last question.

g is a false variable with confounding associations, it's predictive power is misleading because IQ scores are a result of something (not g), not a cause

Since g-factor doesn't exist in the brain and thus can't cause anything, g doesn't exist. You are the believer in this fake made up variable -_-

IQ tests are arbitrary knowledge tests of random knowledge used as a proxy for knowledge seeking behavior lmfao keep believing in your falsevariable
