An excuse for not working
An excuse for being a prick
An excuse for being stupid

There's no other reason to seek a diagnosis other than using it for exploitation

In the past, people didn't seek out a diagnosis. Doctors did it. And it was considered a bad thing. Now, people themselves go to a "doctor" hoping to be diagnosed with something. Some even think it's cool

The best part is, most of these "conditions" are either entirely made up, or wrongly diagnosed. So many people get diagnosed with something these days, when there are a few options: putting it on for a diagnosis; wanting to feel special; being too stupid to cope with their existence; natural variance in personality; natural periods of different mental profile

They like to treat any variation in character as a disorder, when in reality every single thing is a spectrum.
And you think some of these teenagers or single mothers getting diagnosed with "depression", "ADHD" or some personality disorder are going to have that same problem when they're 80? No, it's a phase. Either for show or exploitation, as I said, or natural changes in personality and experience throughout life

It's pretty easy to fall into also, can get government financial support, in universities you can get extra time on exams and assignments even if the illness is unrelated, if you're a foid extra validation.

Schizophrenia is one of the only exceptions. That's classic insanity. But still probably over diagnosed
