High intensity low volume training has given me the best results I’ve seen since I started training just over a year ago. For those of you like me who think it’s far too soon to hop on gear trust me on this just do 1 (2 sets MAX) of absolute full effort training with good form (pump out a few cheat reps, half reps, quarter reps, etc), hit every muscle group ONCE a week and train 3 or 4 days a week, and watch ur strength and size skyrocket. It’s like newbie gains all over again istg.

Now obviously eat enough food and don’t fucking cope with “I eat so much don’t gain weight blah blah blah” and get plenty of rest (big part of this split anyway)

Worst comes to worst you can just go back to ur old program and call me a lying retard faggot cunt if it doesn’t end up working for you. Plus, proofs in the pudding, Mike and Dorian mogs volumetard Arnold

Yep most people train like retards the science is pretty clear that mechanical tension is the sole driver of hypertrophy (in naturals) and doing more reps is just fatigue maxing.

why not 2 days a week
I havent tried that yet so it would be stupid of me to claim thats the best way when I have yet to see for myself. Ill give it a try in a few months but so far my gains are great doing what im doing rn.

i agree tbh i've gotten much stronger quicker but i'm not sure its's ideal for putting on muscle mass

how long do you spend in the gym if you're hitting a muscle group once a week

strength and muscle size have massive correlation, if youre gaining strength fast ur most definitly gaining size faster too.

Most studies have refuted low intensity to be optimal, but many people have been getting solid result from it. Great work

not including my cardio I only spend about 25-45 minutes per session, depending on how busy the gym is etc. More complex muscle groups like back for example take longer cuz I get to do a set for each part of it (Traps, lats, etc)

Thanks!

Studies that support volumetardation are done in too short of a time frame. Volume may give great gains in a short period, but the fatigue catches up and it becomes useless over time.

Wanna torture me then? Think that would do it? Do you wanna tie me up and pinch my nipples? Let me know I'm a bad boy for not doing gear? Come on then!
