Well, this is complicated territory. It's not obvious if the creation of money has done good or bad, it depends on which standpoint you're looking at it. Economically, it makes trade a fuck ton easier than doing favors and shit, so it ultimately leads to more incentive to work and produce, which theoretically would give everyone more "utility". But that doesn't translate to a good life from what I've seen. It's possible to have a lot of money and still be fucking miserable with your life, lots of people are in that situation.
