Messy hair looks way better imo IF (big IF) YOU can rock it. there's a treshhold imo where your hair is "too perfect" like using tons of gels and all that.
edit: damn this is hard cus short + fades are very masc too if u have a robust face. I guess it just depends if ur pretty boy or masc

Messy is better for younger guys trying to pull jbs but only if it really suits you. Short is best for complimenting the dom/masc slayer look.
