Exactly why I listen mostly to Black Metal or Slam because little posers compared to other genres and the actual fans actually enjoy the music which makes discussion a lot better.

They have some but compared to bands like Burzum and Darkthrone, Slipknot really don't have much on them.

I mean those are quite different bands. imo burzum has one good album (filosofem) that holds up even when compared to today's standards. but a lot of the oldschool black metal stuff was really only considered good because it was new I think. if you released an album with autistic varg screeching vocals today you'd get laughed at and people would say it sounds like shit.

I actually love Aske Ep, I have a Aske shirt lol. But I agree, I dont like the fans but Lamp of Murmuur is some really good new black metal. You should check them out.
