I started 2.5mg and already look bloated as shit.

I’m a non-responder to topical minox, so I wanted to ask how other people combat the bloat.

There’s no way this many people take it and just deal with the bloat.

Thanks guys

I think bloating is very common with minoxidil, you could switch and hop on dut or fin, it's more effective (even though the mechanism is different) but has many side effects, although I don't think they're that common.

PERMADOSE 50MG EPLERENONE MARK AS SOLUTION

I’m using Minox for my eyebrows. I just don’t respond to topical

The bloat isnt that bad at 2.5mg
U can counter it with daily cardio, black coffee, high potassium and lower carbs

Thanks brother. Trying to keep my hopes up because I need this shit for my eyebrows but I for sure can’t look this bloated for years.

I was camping for the past couple days so very low water, lots of junk food sodium, no gym and no potassium.

Hopefully we’re good by tomorrow.

Oh yeah I see, then I dunno really; I can only say that you could reduce slightly the concentration, change the brand or maybe drink more water.

He said he doesn't respond to topical so it's a bit more complicated

Yea I asked him how long was he using it for, some ppl are impatient too
Yeah, I think topical minoxidil takes longer to work, maybe he could try topical again but wait more time

PERMADOSE 50MG EPLERENONE MARK AS SOLUTION
Minox Bloat isnt aldosterone heavy ? So why would you use a MAR like Epl do block aldosterone when minox hardly increases fluid via that axi ?

"Mark as solution" JFL, been on the forum for 9 months but still spouting nonsense like this.

Yeah, I think topical minoxidil takes longer to work, maybe he could try topical again but wait more time
He's a non responder cause he lacks the enzyme responsible for converting it the version of minox that actually does positive effect's on the follicle

He can use Trentinoin as a way to get around this to lack for said enzyme, some places even sell Tret with Minox in a bottle

only diuretics can help with it
No Thiazide, MAR, ENaC inhibitor or ARB is going to help with minox

It's mostly Capillary Permeability, only way to counter is to use Loop's which arent sustainable at all

either try to make topical work, or live with the bloat

The advice he gave you wont do fuck

Caffine is a weak diuretic on its own
Cardio jus sweats out soduim, minox is not triggering the RAAS to hold as much water with soduim
Withdrawing Carbs is a meme
Potassium will hardly help at all

I know if all does very very little, still worth a try. Any tips yourself??

Ive tried every diuretic in existence n every method, only thing that worked was Loop diuretics which are just unhealthy long term n could be fatal for everyday use

either drop it, or embrace the bloat

Only on Eplerenone 50mg rn works decent
Got my bloods back and my potassium isnt as high as I want nor sodium as low
So im adding 25mg HCTZ + Amiloride

im already on all that stuff as it is
n no im not fear mongering them in fact there quite literally in my stack:

N drop HCTZ, its a shit thiazide that ruins lipids, switch over to indapamide its cleaner with a longer half life n more potent per mg

Amiloride is only worth if your facing GH-induced edema, or going out.
doesnt have as much cardiovascular benifits long term n jus raises risk.

My stacks not crazy so I dont worry about HCTZs small affect on lipids
However ill likely switch over to it anyways just for the longer half life

If you do make sure its indapamide SR (Sustained Release)

for example 1.5mg of indapamide SR is similar to 20mg of HCTZ in term of dieresis
