Mewchew ? new technique

first off: don't come telling me "your a dumbass of course it dosen't work".
thats why i put the question mark so somebody with higher knowledge can actually adress this (yes im grey :feelsuhh:)

essentialy these are the steps:
1. get some hard gum
2. put it on the fifth or sixth teeth
3. place your tounge on the roof of the mouth (start mewnig)
4. bite it down a little so it won't move
4. chew and mew at the same time

in my mind this should work because doing basicly half chews won't interfere with the mewing
but idk tho
get someone eductaced (Zeekie,veggiedietcell,copercel123) and lmk if this works

Also the whole point of chewig to get a better jaw is like eating meat and tougher foods
not gum which is sweet

Well, first off, mewing and chewing are most relevant when you're under the age of 16, since that's when there's still some potential to correct facial structure. Past that age, it's not really worth actively trying to mew or chew for structural change, as it's unlikely to make a significant difference. Chewing can still help develop the masseter muscles, which may slightly improve jaw definition, but it won’t reshape your facial structure like it could during growth years.

So, does combining mewing and chewing work? Kind of, but I think you're better off doing them separately. Trying to consciously mew and chew at the same time just increases cognitive load, and you'll likely get lower-quality results from both. As you mentioned, you're essentially forced to do half-chews if you're trying to maintain a mewing position, which reduces the range of motion and muscle tension. Plus, the act of chewing itself makes it harder to focus on mewing properly.

I would just do them separately, mew throughout the day and do some sessions (10–20 minutes) of chewing in the morning, evening, night or whenever you have time. Doing them together isn't really efficient or will bring better results, it's the opposite.

lately i've been trying to do it subconciously anytime i close my mouth so ik but apprciate it

Stop treating mewing like a fucking exercise lol. If you do, youll be fucking disappointed. If your habits are fucked it isnt just about putting your tounge up and hope to see results lmao, you most likely cant even hold proper tounge posture. It would take a pretty long time with myofunctional therapy and even then no mewing is going to fix your genetics and years of bad habits. Fixing overall posture and losing bf is the best u can do if you want to come close to these "mewing results". Stop coping and save up for surgery or live life lol. Mewing is a part of something a bit more complexed and wont do shit for you aesthetically.
