I am trying to understand what is the best way to mew when the palate is asymmetrical. As you can see from an x-ray, the palate is higher on the left, but the orbital is lower on the same side, which doesn't make sense to me.

The common sense is that if the maxilla is higher on a particular side, everything including cheekbones, orbitals should be higher too, which apparently isn't true and I have the same problem.

So to fix the tilted palate, you need to push against the right in this case, so that the lower jaw will also be more aligned to the center after palate becomes straighter, though the you cannot change the difference between ramus lengths. If you push against right though, the right orbital will go up, creating even more imbalance between the orbitals.

Need your help maxilla experts.

Just LDAR
This is not my x-rays and it is very minor in my case.
I also don't understand why people on this forum does everything but help the others with looksmaxing.

to fix this you need bimax

Yes, that is the most obvious way to fix it, but for a minor case like mine, I would rather try to address it with mewing for now.

How do you explain the higher palate and lower orbital on the same side?

orbitals are only affected by forward growth I have a same case, except 1 side is less forward grown with smaller cheekbone and worse under eye support

I think tilt has nothing to do with forward growth. For prominence, you're right, but for tilt asymmetry it is about the maxilla being up or down not forward or recessed.

orthognatic for this, you should tilt your head to the side where your tongue won't catch and try to keep it, it's fucking uncomfortable, after orthognatic you probably mew perfectly

In this case, should I push against right or left based on the x-ray not mine)?

the tongue should cover the largest possible area symmetrically, when you tilt your head to one side, the tongue goes along too, understand?

You're saying that I should tilt my head such that tongue symmetrically press against the palate, is that right?

yes, when i started mew my tongue went almost all to the left side of the palate, so i tilted my head to the right side and kept the tongue simetrically

hm really? does that not cause more asymmetry
