Most people who get bimax relapse. cuz of muscles I read. SO I want to move my jaw as much as possible by mewing aand chewing. Curse the fact I had traditional orthodontics as a kid. I naturally have underbite and a jaw that is asymmetric that moves to the left. I believe this is cuz I mostly chew food with my left side, and I always chewed on stuff on that side as a kid and even a teenager. Like pencils and rubber and stuff, I have a theory that if I focus on chewing shit like falim on my right side, it will swing make jaw back more toward the center. Mewing, maybe in 3 years I can move my maxilla forward 3 mm, and the in 10 years, I can move it forward 10 mm.

Is rthe chewing part cope tho? Or should i. try it?

Chewing will lead to further asymmetry. The root cause of your asymmetry is the underlining bone. Even if the muscle is asymmetric this is due to the bone being asymmetric. I know from experience. I chewed relentlessly for years in order to "cure" asymmetry. All this did was make the asymmetry worse and I eventually resorted to botox in the jaw to bring the muscle down. While this made the asymmetry less noticeable it looked terrible and im basically back where I started. The asymmetry isnt as noticeably bad as the botox was, but im going to get bimax once im done with MSE. the only way to resolve asymmetry is at the level of the bone, anything else will be cope and could easily/will probably make the problem worse.

did you chew on one side or chew on both sides?? But also muscle is what shapes the bone, not vice versa, so if the bone is out of place it's cuzthe muscle is

Mewing is indeed cope

i dont think thats necessarily true, but it is possible that my muscle/chewing on one side had an effect at an early age. after puberty i highly doubt it will have a major effect on the bone and trust me you wont be able to control the way in which the muscle grows. if the bone is asymmetrical, even in ways you cant see, it will cause the muscles to grow asymmetrically. it isnt just about a difference in the size of the muscles

As long as you get it with a good surgeon and keep proper tongue posture after Bimax I'd think your chances of releasing gonna be slim

then why do studies say 60-100% of patients relapse?
