Mewing issues

When i attempt to mew by holding the g in king i am able to hold it but unable to breath. I looked at some threads and it said that it is likely due to not breathing through the nouse which doesnt make sense since i breath through my nose the whole day. I thought it could have been to my tongue tie but that doesnt make sense since i can still hold the g i just cant breath. Currently to minimize damage i just have the front and middle of my tongue at the roof since i can breath with that.

any suggestions?

It may be a problem with your nose idk tbh

I can't imagine that. How? When I do myung, everything is clear to me. How is it impossible to breathe?

I just cant breath through my nose when i have the back of my tongue at the roof i have attempted it multiple times for a few days i thought i was doing it wrong looked at some tutorials and im doing everything right

You could just like have your tounge lower until you can breathe to minimize it

mewing is cope but lower the start of the tongue probably touching your palate

I see thanks for the advice. Also i thought mewing worked before your bones fully fused?

You could just like have your tounge lower until you can breathe to minimize it

it has minimal effect when youre going trough puberty/before
read BOTB's if u wanna ascend if youre pre puberty

I will take a look through them. isnt mewing just to prevent stuff from getting worse not improving it

i used to have this problem, just mew and hold your tongue a little lower so you can breathe
