I've been mewing (soft) since I was 12.87 years old, im 15.991 years old now, and I genuinely have a better maxilla, and kinda mogger chin projection. I just don't really see my bones because im fat, but they're most definitely there ngl. Will update you niggas after I get lean.

I didn't know I had one at the time, I only consulted a doctor about my bite this year. I probably mewed normally, which moved my maxilla forward, while keeping the cross bite. Im getting MSE this year though.

Yeah genetics is law at the end of the day. Granted, I do think oral/neck posture as well avoiding things like sleep apnea, snoring, mouthbreathing, and drooling during sleep are important for overall health and function, especially as one gets older.

Yeah if MSE can fix issues with palate, you should be fine then. I am thinking of getting SFOT to correct some problems braces gave me. But a Bimax would really ascend me hard since I really could use more forward growth even though my maxilla is decent.

Because it’s scientifically impossible to achieve that kind of maxillary advancement post 12 years old.

Even children with face masks at the age of like 5 only improve the jaws. Not the entire maxilla.
