I haven’t benched since freshman year and people still brag about how they could bench more then me when I physique mog them into oblivion

Like if someone can’t tell that you lift when you take your shirt off and you bench 225 that’s not tuff

Ima just start telling people I bench 315

I havent hit the bench since 9th grade

Let alone the gym in like 3 months now

But i dont workout anymore. I feel like my digestive system works a lot better when i dont stress my fucking body 3-4 times a week at the gym

Quite relatable, I put on enough mass to where I basically quit, I just lift 1x a week at home, stopped caring about the weight I was lifting as well, just interested in cardio and my diet/bodyfat nowadays

Yeah bro I used to stress out my body so much eventually it gave up, i got gut health issues and shit because all my blood was going to my muscles instead of relaxing and taking it easy

Working out isnt necessarily very bad its just when u have social anxiety and u stress all the time physically and mentally it stacks up against u

Yeah bro I used to stress out my body so much eventually it gave up, i got gut health issues and shit because all my blood was going to my muscles instead of relaxing and taking it easy

Agree thoroughly with the last block, I enjoy varying forms of exercise but my BP at the gym would be like constant S1 hypertension 140/70+, meanwhile away from hiding in a pair of headphones and 15 million other dudes lifting, just doing it at home, I can enjoy myself

Lifting made me uncomfortable with taking my shirt off jfl, I’m sure I would have had a nice experience if I went to a better gym and was less anxious but so be it

Nice to see someone with similar thoughts about rather than just the constant “go gym” advice

Yeah working out at home is really nice. You dont have anyone looking at u weird or sum shit, then it also depends on how social u are but most of us here arent that social lol

Tbh i dont mind not being so social, ive accepted it because my body feels better than trying to be in the center of attention

Also at home. U can do calisthenics which is more natural for the human body
