I think it’s because he looks very neotenous for a black person so it balances out a black person’s thug aura and maximizes appeal. The way I conceptualise it is that there’s a latent appeal factor separate from PSL that is the first thing that women see and then PSL is how attractiveness is rationalized and used as a benchmark for further discrimination subconsciously by their brain. So while the average black person may only appeal to 40% of women and being HTN PSL wise keeps 20% still interested, MBJ might appeal to 80% of women and his 4 PSL face keeps 30% of them interested.
