He’s still very elite, his mid range game is better than everyone in the league rn (including Steph) + he was on par with Lebron athletically in his prime.
But he wouldn’t have six championships or be considered GOAT if he played today, defensively he wouldn’t really stand out over kawhi or other good wing defenders either imo.
