microneedling serum

which serum do you use before microneedling to lubricate the skin? i have a normal hyaluronic acid serum but im worried that i may need a specific one for microneedling to avoid irritation

i use 0.25 mm and just cleanse my face before it. If any irritation happens I apply a bit of moisturizer on the area.
You should avoid using any active compounds directly after micro needling tho. (tret/ minoxidil/glycolic acid etc.)

i think it’s a bit different when using a pen. i’m going 1.5mm
