Microneedling with isotretinoin is it safe?

I’m on isotretionin and Im doing micro needling, I came across some posts, that it can cause scars on skin cuz of isotretionin side effects, and I was thinking if I should stop doing that while I’m on it?

Go shallow if u will dermastamp but maybe try not to dermastamp while ur on isotret

@bmdoc tbh i'd stay away from any needling while on iso. the skin barrier is already compromised and ur just asking for trouble imo. might be different if it was like a super shallow stamp for scarring but even then i wouldnt risk it.

Depends on your dose, if it’s low dose it shouldn’t be a problem, but still take care. If you’re do on high doses don’t risk it. Personally I’d run the full accutane course and once I’m done wait a few months then start needling. Don’t want to risk fucking up your skin.

Yes but i use different mm for some parts of my face, i never go more than 1.5mm

Do u know if doing microneedling only on the hair area like temples etc its bad with iso?
