middle part -> fringe

does anyone know how to go from a middle part to a fringe? i got a haircut recently and tried putting my hair down today, but since my hair is trained to be in a middle part the fringe looks pretty bad, any advice on how i can make the fringe look better? or should i just keep my hair parted?

i used to have a side part when i was younger but my widows peak really brings out the m shape so it wasn't the move
