Midface looks long in front-facing camera

I measured my IPD and midface length which respectably came out as 6.5cm and 6cm in length when measured with a ruler. Since this is a midface ratio above 1 shouldn't my midface look at least normal on camera? Instead my midface looks way longer than my IPD which is strange because my IPD is longer than my midface so shouldn't the reverse happen? I'm actually so confused. Have any of you guys experienced this before?

The only way to accurately judge your proportions is with a true mirror, which is two perpendicular mirrors, the image in the middle is exactly how someone would see you at twice the distance of the mirror to you.

Which angle? Im looking me more, i dont have long midface. Unless i put my head down and close to camera, that way my face gets insanely long
